Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026 · version 1
This page explains everything lura.work stores on your device, why, and how to change your mind. It covers this website only; the Lura mobile apps are described in the privacy policy.
We set no first-party cookies
This site stores nothing of its own in cookies. Two entries live in your browser's local storage: one remembers your cookie choice, the other your language. Both stay on your device, are never sent to us or anyone else, and exist only so the site does not ask you the same question on every page. Under the ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)) storing your own choice is strictly necessary, so it needs no consent.
Everything that can be stored
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
lura-enterprise-cookie-consent | Technical (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or refused analytics, and when | Until you clear it. A refusal is honoured for 190 days, an acceptance for 180 | Lura (first party) |
lura-enterprise-lang | Technical (local storage) | Remembers the language you chose | Until you clear it | Lura (first party) |
_ga | Analytics — consent required | Distinguishes one visitor from another so visits can be counted | 180 days (we cap Google's two-year default) | Google Analytics 4 |
_ga_M9P0HYH1W6 | Analytics — consent required | Keeps session state for our Google Analytics property | 180 days | Google Analytics 4 |
Analytics, only if you accept
If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and how people arrive. Nothing analytics-related is requested before that: the script is not on the page, and no analytics cookie exists. Google receives the page you viewed, your device and browser, the referring site, and your IP address, from which it derives an approximate location. Advertising features are switched off — no Google Signals, no ad personalisation, and requests are marked non-personalised. Google Ireland Limited is the recipient and data may be processed in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. If you refuse, or simply never choose, none of this happens.
What we do not do
No advertising or profiling cookies. No cross-site tracking, no social-network plugins, no fingerprinting, no data brokers. No cookie wall: refusing costs you nothing on this site, and scrolling or ignoring the banner is never treated as consent.
Your choice, and how to change it
The banner asks once, with accept and refuse presented equally. If you refuse we do not ask again for at least six months. If you accept, that consent expires after 180 days and we ask again rather than assuming it forever. You can withdraw at any time — reopen the banner below and choose Reject, and we delete the analytics cookies immediately.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking storage entirely may mean we ask about cookies on every visit, because the record of your choice is itself stored on your device.
Changes to this policy
If we add a tracker, this table changes and every stored choice is invalidated, so you will be asked again. The version and date at the top tell you which text you agreed to.
